Zena is a printmaker and photographer, but mainly creates monotypes and single prints using acrylics. She likes the exhilaration of printing and always welcomes the resulting surprises and discoveries. Zena explores and expresses remembered feelings and experiences, rather than the immediate world around her. She has lived close to the North Devon coast and in Valencia and many other cities in Europe, and both the sea and random, fragmentary images from the past tend to appear in her work.
